Neighborhood Parks and Pools
There are a number of parks and swimming pools within a easy walk or drive of our home.
Brentwood Park and Pool
The closest park an pool to us, Brentwood is only two blocks away. It has a brand-new playground and a decidedly not new pool.
The pool is currently closed due to a lack of lifeguards.
Northwest Park and Pool
Only a mile or so away, Northwest Park has a playground, tennis courts, a turtle pond, and lots of space to roam.
The pool is open all summer, and has a very large kids' pool as well as a real deep end with a diving board. Admission is a few dollars for non-Austin residents. However, it is currently closed due to a lack of lifeguards.
